Install Netbeans with Glassfish and Run to check its properly working on the server or not. Under Server, select GlassFish v3 and click Next. Select Tools -> Server Manager to open the Servers dialog. Follow these instructions to register the GlassFish Server in NetBeans IDE. To run the tutorial examples in NetBeans IDE, you must register your GlassFish Server installation as a NetBeans Server Instance. If for some reason it is not then Browse to the correct location. This dialog shows the Installation Location where GlassFish was installed with NetBeans. Feel free to give the server a more exciting name than GlassFish Server. Select GlassFish Server and click on Next. To update GlassFish you will need to: Download GlassFish separately. The Update Center in GlassFish no longer works because the server it tries to connect to does not exist any more after Oracle ended commercial support. Possible duplicate of NETBEANS-965 ("does not load GlassFish"), but there is no description for that bug and the screenshot information is in Russian. Priority is minor since the simple workaround is to download Glassfish first outside of NetBeans, and then select that downloaded folder within the Add Server wizard.
